[Finished] Written in the stars (BTS)
  • Alpha Kim
  • The pack and I were in the clearing, lying in wait for my son to show up. He may have run away a long, long time ago but I still knew him. I knew he would do anything to protect his family and he would come for his son. He was always so predictable on that aspect, making his son the perfect bait for that sentimental fool.
  • Still, fool or not, he could be broken and trained and moulded, like his own son. I was growing old and I need him to take over the pack as Alpha, otherwise we were going to lose our status and reputation. I could not let my pack disintegrate into nothing just because my son refused to be an Alpha.
  • I sighed as I looked at his son. He was a spitting image of young Taehyung. No one could deny he was the father. He had the same facial features but also the same fire. He had stopped crying and instead tried to punch, kick and bite. I looked at him as he tried to struggle against the bindings on his hands and legs but it was of no use.
  • I walked towards him while he continued to glare at me. I had to admit that I admired his determination and fearlessness. I squatted down to be at his level.
  • ‘What do you want old man?’ Minho spat me. I chuckled as I nodded to myself, getting more and more impressed with him.
  • ‘You truly are Taehyung’s son,’ I said as looked at him. ‘You have the same fire he has. It’s a pity he never used it well,’ I said.
  • ‘My Papas and Mama…they…will kill you,’ he said, still glaring. I shook my head and touched his face but he pulled his face away and crawled a little backwards.
  • ‘No my dear little Minho, your Mama won’t be doing anything because she’s dead,’ I said. His eyes went wide as he shook his small head.
  • ‘No!! No! Mama is alive! Mama is alive!’ he shouted as he went to stand and run at me. I laughed as I stood up while he pushed against my leg.
  • ‘Stop crying. Crying is for weak little boys. Are you a weak boy Minho?’ I asked while he continued to cry. ‘I see, well don’t worry boy, we’ll work on it,’ I said.
  • ‘I AM NOT YOUR BOY! I WANT MAMA AND PAPAS!’ he yelled as he let out a little growl. I could not help but smirk – even if he was a tad emotional, I could break that away and turn him into a fine warrior indeed.
  • I walked away from the child and went next to Matthew, one of my faithful followers. ‘Any sign of them?’ I asked.
  • ‘No Alpha, not even a sniff, but something feels off,’ Matthew said, causing me to raise my eyebrow.
  • ‘What do you mean Matthew?’ I asked but he shrugged, seemingly uncertain.
  • ‘I don’t know Alpha, maybe I am wrong,’ he said as he looked around. He looked uncomfortable but I shrugged it off.
  • ‘I know Taehyung. He’s a fool and weak but he will come for his son,’ I said. Before Matthew could reply, blue, shimmering light appeared. It seemed to flow through the trees and the ground itself but it grew blinding. I covered my face, turning my head slightly as it seemed to get bigger until it faded away.
  • I blinked my eyes as I saw a whole pack appear from out of nowhere. Along the pack, there were several fairies and three warlocks. Taehyung was standing at the very front of the pack.
  • ‘You’re right about one thing, I did come for my son,’ Taehyung said as he stepped forward. He had grown so much from the last time I saw him. He was taller and buffer, much buffer. He had let his hair grow slightly long and his face had changed only slightly. His voice was not as shaky as I remembered it to be, in fact, it was confident and strong.
  • ‘Taehyung, it’s good to see you again my son,’ I said as I also took a step forward but he shook his head, raising a hand, almost as if to create a distance between us – almost as if he was repulsed by my very presence.
  • ‘Don’t you dare call me that!’ he snapped at me as his eyes fell on Minho. I could see him tremble with rage and hatred. His fist shook and I knew he was trying to keep himself from lounging on me. Even now he did not want to give in to his Alpha instinct. ‘Not after what you did to my family. Now, let my son go,’ he said but I shook my head.
  • ‘I can’t do that Taehyung,’ I said as my own wolves came up to stand behind me. I could sense the apprehension in the air. They were worried and scared – a pathetic lot. I had no clue what they were scared of – Taehyung’s pack consisted or orphans, runaways or abandoned wolves.
  • ‘What do you even want with Taehyung?’ One of the taller once said. He was taller than Taehyung and even buffer but he was not an Alpha, even if he carried himself as one. Still, he seemed protective of Taehyung.
  • ‘I guess you must be Namjoon. Am I correct?’ I asked. He didn’t say anything but I saw his jaw twitch, giving me the answer I wanted. ‘You’re the one who has been parading around as an Alpha instead of my son,’ I said with a smirk.
  • ‘I already told you. DO NOT CALL ME YOUR SON!’ Taehyung yelled. He had taken another step forward but one of the shorter ones held him. This one had to be Yoongi. ‘You are dead to me!’ Taehyung said in a quieter but colder voice.
  • ‘Answer Namjoon’s question. What do you want with Taehyung?’ Yoongi asked. I shook my head as I took a step forward but Taehyung’s mates were quick to step forward, coming by his side. I counted and smirked once more.
  • ‘Six of you. Where’s your weak pathetic Omega mate? Is he dead because I would not be surprised,’ I said to which Taehyung growled, loudly. There were some other growl coming from Namjoon and the younger one, Jungkook. Yoongi glared at me but I just laughed.
  • ‘NOO!! APPA!!’ Minho wailed as the boys’ eyes darted to him. Minho’s lips trembled as he shook his head and Jin’s eyes went wide.
  • ‘No, no sweetie, Appa Jimin is fine,’ Jin said as he went to go to him but two of my wolves quickly blocked his way.
  • ‘LET MY SON GO!’ Taehyung said, his voice becoming louder with every word. His eyes glimmered slightly with golden streaks but turned to normal.
  • ‘Ah, yes, there it is – that Alpha instinct that is struggling so hard to come out. Let it out Taehyung,’ I said but he shook his head.
  • ‘I won’t be like you. I refuse to be like you. I refuse to do to my children what you did to me,’ Taehyung said.
  • ‘You don’t have a choice Taehyung. You asked me what I want, well here it is. I want you to come back to your pack. I want you to become Alpha and take the lead,’ I said.
  • Yoongi scoffed while Hoseok shook his head. Namjoon and Jungkook were both glaring at me while Jin kept glancing at me and Minho. ‘Do you think we’ll ever let Taehyung leave us to come to you? To the person who abused him all those years?’ Yoongi asked.
  • ‘We would never let you take him from us. We’re his family and nothing is going to change that,’ Jungkook said among growls.
  • ‘Is that so?’ I asked while laughing. ‘Taehyung you know me. You know I always, always get my way. If you want your precious son to live, you will come with me,’ I said.
  • ‘You threaten my son one more time and I will kill you,’ he said, through gritted teeth.
  • ‘Do you really have it in you Taehyung? Can you kill your old man?’ I asked as I tilted my head to the side and crossed my arms across my chest, challenging.
  • ‘You killed Alex who was just a boy! He was only thirteen years old,’ Taehyung began. ‘You hurt Huening Kai. You hurt Jungkook, Hoseok and Jimin – you hurt my mates!’ he added, his body shaking. I could see the others looking at him worriedly as his rage continued to build. ‘You left Alina for dead when she’s pregnant and you almost killed my child but it wasn’t enough, was it?’ he asked as he took a deep breath. ‘YOU TOOK MY SON! YOU TIED HIM UP AND YOU THREATENED MY CHILD!’ he said as he smiled slightly but it wasn’t his usual smile, no, it was more sadistic.
  • ‘Taehyung,’ Namjoon called but Taehyung shook his head and stepped forward towards me. My wolves growled slightly, getting ready to fight but I raised my hand. I wanted this. I wanted the monster in him to get unleashed.
  • ‘You think I don’t have it in me to kill you?’ he asked as he laughed. ‘I would do anything, anything to protect my family,’ he said as his eyes finally turned golden.
  • ‘We’ll see about that,’ I said as I turned my head towards those two and nodded. Taehyung’s eyes widened.
  • ‘NOO!’ The boys screamed but before the two wolves could do anything, one of the warlocks appeared from behind them and took Minho away.
  • The two wolves suddenly gasped in pain and I saw one of the male warlocks with his hands raised. Before I knew it, the two of them had their faces scrunched in pain and then collapsed, dead to the world. ‘Wh—what did you do?’ I asked, suddenly feeling as if I might have underestimated Taehyung and his pack. I could smell the fear coming from my pack.
  • ‘I stopped their heart,’ the warlock said casually while the female warlock appeared right next to Taehyung’s mates, Minho in her arms.
  • ‘Minho!’ Hoseok yelled as he took him in his arms. Taehyung looked before he looked back at me.
  • ‘Leave and never come back. This is your only warning,’ Taehyung said but I shook my head.
  • ‘I don’t lose boy and I certainly am not told what to do,’ I said as I jumped into the air and transformed into my wolf form. My pack followed as did Taehyungs.
  • Two packs of wolves clashed together, howling filled the air. The growling was so loud it could wake up the dead. Taehyung rushed at me as the two of us rolled on the ground.
  • He managed to pin me down to the ground, much quicker than I thought he could. I had certainly underestimated how strong he grew. His eyes were completely golden as he growled loudly, snarling right above me.
  • I was scared. For the first time in my life, I was scared. He stared at me but besides his anger, there was also sadness. He shook his head and moved back, refusing to kill me. Weak!
  • I shook my head as I jumped on him, slamming him against the tree. Unlike him, I did not have trouble to fight him or hurt him…or even kill him.
